What a celebration!

This past weekend we had Emma's 3rd & Kennadee's 1st birthday party. We had so much fun! I can't believe that my second born is already 3, and my baby is almost 1 year old!!! Where has the time gone!?! Just this time last year we were planning Kenna's delivery.... We had a really great day, and lots of the girls' friends came over to help us celebrate. We decorated sugar cookies with the kids, but I forgot to take any pictures... Then it was time for cake and presents! The cakes were great, Ariel took a lot longer to make than I had planned... ( I got in the shower 28 minutes prior to the party time) Opening the presents was ciaos, having Emma and Kennadee opening their presents together, but it was really fun, and they received lots of wonderful gifts. Below are some pictures of the great day!

Kennadee playing with her snail shape sorter that she got form Isaac. You can tell she had a long day... see the "Don King" hair and the dazed eyes....

Here is Emma opening some of her presents, she had help from bis Sis Sydney

Emma is holding up her "big girl" Ariel panties... On her left is Aspen and on her right is Isaac.
Emma and her must have Ariel cake! Samantha is sitting on her right.
Kenna got her fingers in her cake right before I took this picture, so she looks like she has a mustache on the cake. Aspen and Zoe are in the background.
The infamous Ariel cake... she took over 2 hours to frost... she broke 2 frosting bags, and my frosting gun, and she still turned out orange... Apparently she has spent too much time in the tanning booth...

Gotta LOVE that frosting face!!!

Thank you to all who joined us for our special party!!

Our First Blog

Well.... today my good friend Stephanie, aka supermom to 5 (yes 5) boys 4 and under, asked me... "Do you blog?" While I have read her blog before and another friend in Washington's blog, I have never done this... so here is my first attempt.....

Today was a fun day, Emma and I went to Gaga and Papa's house to attempt to make our first little girls dress... I'll upload the pictures of the finished product. I have never sewn before, and I thought that you just cut it out, and sew it together... after all they get couture pieces done in an hour on project runway (haha...) Nope, after 5 hours we still aren't done. But, the finished product will be beautiful!

The girls are all napping now... ahhhh peace and quiet....

So, Emma turned 3 on the 2nd, we had a small gathering, just family, and are having the actual party on the 23rd. Here area few pictures from her special day.

Emma was about the eat her little Aroura CakeHere she is opening some of her presents, sitting in her new Princess Birthday chair that Auntie Gina & Uncle Spencer gave her.
More cake, we were singing to her.
Digging in!
